Dr. Yvonne Thompson CBE Wowws Audience At Said Business School
Dr. Yvonne Thompson CBE made her début speech at Oxford University at their Said Business School on December 10th. Arranged as part of the Oxford Business Entrepreneurs Network’s (OBEN) first Annual Conference celebration, she “wowwed” the audience with her ” inspiring”, “professional”, “informative” but “humble” presentation to over 150 local businesses from all backgrounds.
Dr Thompson, took the audience on a journey of inspiration, and aspiration, showing them where she came from and how she got to where she is today; a well respected and as once pointed out “well protected” individual within the UK’s African Caribbean community.
The event was arranged by OBEN, which was founded by Dennis Amoaka, sponsored by Business Link Oxfordshire, and hosted at the Said Business School, Oxford University. Feedback was instantly positive, with a hint of a return performance in the offering for next year. Watch this space.
